Please note that services are provided under a physician’s direction and are reimbursed by Medicare, Medicaid and many third party insurances. We also offer private pay options.
What are Skilled Home Health Services?
Some patients need special care that require skilled services by a registered nurse. (RN) These programs allow patients to return to the comfort of their own home while they continue to receive treatment. This can help prevent unnecessary time in a hospital, or admission to a nursing home.
Our skilled home health services provide a licensed caregiver to help patients (elderly or disabled) who cannot take care of themselves. A skilled home care professional manages clinical duties for patients, and works closely with the patient’s family and physician to create an individualized care plan.
Skilled home care includes disease prevention, wound care, administering medication, preservation and restoration of mobility and patient education about disease and treatment plans.
